Pumpkin Spice Latte

A delicious, nutrient-dense,

healthy alternative to the

processed options out there.






Ingredients


  • 1 shot of espresso or 4 ounces of strong coffee

  • 3/4 cup of your favorite milk (coconut milk tastes great and makes the best froth)

  • 3 TBSP of organic pumpkin puree

  • 1 TBSP of real maple syrup for the coffee

  • 1 tsp of real maple syrup for the milk

  • pinch of pumpkin pie spice

  • 1/8 tsp of vanilla extract

  • pinch of cinnamon sugar for topping


Preparation


On the stovetop, on low heat, add your 3/4 cup milk of choice and tsp of maple syrup to a pot and whisk or use an immersion blender to whip up. Once the milk is warm and frothy, add your coffee, pumpkin, spices, vanilla extract, and 1 TBSP maple syrup and slowly mix until pumpkin puree is combined well. Pour mixture into your favorite mug and add a pinch of cinnamon sugar on top.
