Feeling Fatigued, Anxious, Overwhelmed? You Are Not Alone!
Updated: Jul 9, 2020
These are the most common complaints and ailments I hear from my clients. My clients range from students to busy moms on the go, men in their 30s & 40s, to women in their 70s, and we all feel the same. Life can get busy, messy and overwhelming, and we if we don't stop to take care of ourselves first, these feelings will only compound and possibly turn into something much larger!

I should know, it happened to me four years ago! I went in for my annual well-woman check-up and explained to my doctor my feelings of low-energy, brain fog, anxiousness, and a ton of hair shedding, and within 10-15 minutes she diagnosed me with *depression. She told me not to worry about it as 1 in 4 women over the age of 40 in America are on an anti-depressant. The "diagnosis" came without any blood work or labs what-so-ever. I told her that I knew that not to be the case for my personal situation; everything was fine at home, my children/husband/parents were in good health, and I had so much to be grateful for, I was just feeling really off! Leaving her office, I felt so confused and annoyed, that I knew I had to get real answers ASAP. I decided to go see my daughter's naturopath, that had been so thorough and diligent on getting to the root-cause of her eczema and food allergies.
After the appointment with my naturopath, having the appropriate blood-work and tests done, we learned that I had numerous vitamin and nutritional deficiencies that were basically causing all of my symptoms! And as well as I thought I was eating, I was not getting enough health-sustaining foods and was very heavy on health-depleting sugary-processed treats like Jojo's cookies and fig bars, my choice of grab and go snacks at the time, yikes! I was about to turn 40, and things needed to change! Working with my naturopath, completing the Institute for Integrative Nutrition health coaching certification, learning and practicing self-care techniques, taking the appropriate supplementation (as simple as adding a magnesium supplement, who knew?), and eating the right mix of health-supporting foods personalized to me, have all lead me to where I am today, and being able to help so many others that struggle with similar feelings! It's a process and a journey with many little tweaks along the way, but having that general foundation of health/what works for me, has helped me stay well, given me more energy and balance, and be more present in my family's lives. Now I am able to mentor and empower others, provide ongoing support and guidance as we address root causes, set goals, and make sustainable changes that improve my client's health and happiness! Once I learned to take care of myself and my family, I became passionate and committed to sharing my knowledge to support and foster the health of others!
