I am a Board Certified Health and Wellness Practitioner that partners with clients so that they may
discover and achieve self-determined health and wellness goals.
Based in Tucson, Arizona, Amanda Saffer Wellness, LLC., grew out of my lifelong passion for health and well-being. Guided by a thoughtful and optimistic approach, I help clients improve their overall well-being and develop lifelong sustainable habits to live a healthy and happy life.
I am incredibly passionate about nutrition and the health of my family; as a mom, that is the stuff that keeps me up at night. After a long and frustrating road of navigating my health issues, my family's food allergies and sensitivities (dairy and egg), and my husband having high cholesterol and also being a vegetarian and how he could eat to support his heath; I am finally starting to crack the case. Driven by the desire to help my clients and in my constant quest for information, I study the latest research, follow the top thought leaders in the area of wellness, evaluate competing theories and read everything I can get my hands on. Most importantly, I use this knowledge to make individualized suggestions for my clients when appropriate.
Nothing makes me happier than when my family is eating well and enjoying their meals. I believe
in real, whole, and organic foods. I like creating delicious, clean, and nutrient-dense meals and recipes, and will happily share them with you! In our home, we have an emphasis on rest and downtime and making sure we get the right amount of sleep to function well the next day. All these ties in with being mindful of your everyday choices.
Before starting my coaching business, Amanda Saffer Wellness, LLC., I was employed as a Cardiovascular Sales Consultant for a few Fortune 500 companies, where I received numerous and continuing education training on the cardiovascular system, type 2 diabetes disease state and cardiovascular-related diseases. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in Interpersonal Relations, where I studied psychology, child development, and Family Studies and recently received a certificate in Holistic Health Coaching from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I am board-certified by the International Health Coaching Association, and The American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
